Main job actions & results

  • Requirements Translation
    Review company and customer product requirements, converting them into technical solutions while adhering to ISO-22734 standards.
  • Expert Calculations
    Conduct structural, thermal, and tolerance-based calculations to ensure robust product design.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    Stay up-to-date and comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Design Expertise
    Create sketches and detailed designs, from individual components to full assemblies, incorporating input from the engineering team.
  • Technical Documentation and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
    Prepare the technical documentation to facilitate technical evaluations, make instrument data sheets and loop diagrams, and implement instrument detail design on P&ID’s.
  • 3D Design Support
    Generate 3D drawings to aid the engineering team in visualizing and refining product designs.
  • 2D Design for Manufacturing
    Produce 2D drawings tailored to provide clear, actionable guidance for the manufacturing team.
  • Manufacturing Liaison
    Work closely with the manufacturing team, offering technical insights and hands-on support throughout the production process.
  • Workflow Management
    Oversee and streamline workflows to optimize efficiencies and product quality.
  • Supplier Collaboration
    Engage with suppliers to obtain necessary technical information and ensure product compatibility.
  • Subcontractor Oversight
    Ensure that subcontracted engineering tasks meet the company’s quality and technical standards.

Required skills & expertise

  • Industry Experience
    Minimum of 3 years in an engineering capacity within a production environment.
  • CAD Proficiency
    Skilled in 2D and 3D CAD design, with a preference for experience in Solid Edge.
  • Regulatory Knowledge (Advantageous)
    Familiarity or experience with the following directives and standards:
    • Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU
    • Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
    • ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU
    • ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code – Section VIII Div 1
    • ASME B31.3 Process Piping
  • Creative and flexible in approach, able to innovate and adjust to dynamic environments.
  • Language Proficiency
    Good proficiency in Polish and a strong command of the English language is essential.
  • Technical Skills
    Proficient in using MS Office suite for efficient documentation and communication.
  • Driving License
    Category B.

Candidates (M/F/X) should possess a Master’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. While this position does not involve managing direct reports, it is a full-time role. The assignment occasionally requires travel, estimated at about 5% of the time.
