In a nutshell

  • Job purpose: Start-up and commission Exion Electrolyzers
  • Location: Gdańsk, Poland and on-site (worldwide)
  • Date: June 2024

Main job actions & results

  • Core activities
    Test, start-up and validate electrolyzers in-house in Gdansk (Factory Acceptance Testing), and start-up of electrolyzers on-site at customers (Site Acceptance Testing).
    Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
    Deliver remote and on-site support.
  • Product Safety
    Calibrate safety devices, perform risk assessments and evaluate overall condition of electrolyzer units.
  • Installation Supervision
    Support the customers’ installation team when requested.
  • Communication
    Explain & train customers’ operators during installation and commissioning.
    Explain & train customers’ 1st line support team during installation and commissioning.
    Remote support of operators and customers’ 1st line support team.
    On-Site collaboration at the customers.
    You are the face of Exion when at the customer site – the interface between the customer and Exion.

Required skills & expertise

  • Industrial Experience
    Industrial Experience is a must. On-the-job-training in the manufacturing environment; we will introduce you to the details and bring you up to speed.
  • Mechanical & electrical hands-on experience is mandatory
  • Technical Skills
    Reading and understanding P&ID’s.
    Reading and understanding electrical schemes.
    Affinity with programming / PLC and ProfiNet / HMI.
  • Good proficiency in using MS Office suite for efficient documentation and communication
  • Flexibility
    Creative and problem-solving mindset.
    Independence in performing duties.
    Hands-on mentality.
  • Language Proficiency
    Good proficiency English is mandatory. Polish is also recommended.
  • Driving License
    Category B.

Candidates (M/F/X) should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification, preferably in automation. While this position does not involve managing direct reports, it is a full-time role. The assignment occasionally requires travel, estimated at about 40% of the time.
